Reiki in Hospitals

Reiki in Hospitals: There are now thousands of individuals as well as some organizations who are providing Reiki treatments to patients in hospitals or prior to their hospital admission. Some hospital practitioners have done an exceptional job and have worked closely with the hospital administration to create protocols, guidelines, and ethics that allow Reiki to be practiced in a way where the hospital, the practitioners, and the patients are all happy. Many health practitioners come to the wellness center for attunements so that they may use this modality to help others. Below are just a few of the Hospitals across the countries that are incorporating Reiki as part of their patient services.

More about Reiki

REIKI ATTUNEMENTSWhen a reiki master gives the attunement, then the practitioner has the ability to channel the reiki. Each attunement turns the practitioner to a higher frequency. There are four levels of Reiki, and three levels of energy. These are Reiki 1, Reiki 2, Master and Teacher. When attuned to Master, then attunements can be given to a student. The attunement involves master and student aligning their intention to receive Reiki. Once attuned, you have it for the rest of your life. Reiki is available to everyone!
REIKI HAS NO LIMITS!When you decide to look for a practitioner, be certain to ask questions of them relative to their training. Only those who have actually investing themselves in the attunement and training process can administer true Reiki!

Reiki

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is, in its simplest translation, universal life energy. It is the life force that exists in all things. The practice of Reiki is the art and science of channeling this universal life energy, or force, to promote spiritual, mental and physical well being. As Reiki involves directing the natural flow of universal energy, it can best be compared to recharging a battery. When a battery’s energy supply is low, it doesn’t function well. By introducing a charge to it, it can once again run on its own. Reiki works much the same way. If you are in pain, whether it be physical, mental or spiritual, your energy supply is lessened. Reiki works to assist you in bringing your energy level back up to its natural flow, enhancing your own natural healing powers. The Reiki practitioner does not suffer from energy depletion, as they are trained to channel energy from the outside environment, not from their personal supply.Reiki was re-discovered in the 1900’s by Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki is an age old method of healing. Upon searching the world over, Dr. Usui found, in ancient writings in Tibet, the keys to healing with touch, as well as the precise information for applying them.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SESSION?Reiki energy is a unique non-evasive, highly effective hands-on natural healing technique. It is channeled through the practitioner who has received the attunements. The receiver lies fully clothed on a comfortable table. Energy is channeled and flows to the area of need. Clients may feel a tingling sensation, heat, or waves of energy running through their bodies. Clients often get a feeling of well being after a reiki session. A treatment if conducted through a series of carefully orchestrated touch patterns, and lasts about an hour. The amount of energy transferred depends on the client’s needs and willingness to use it. Reiki is not related to any religious belief, but is purely a channeling of energy of the universe
